The Tobacco Control Act of 2008 prohibited the sale of flavored cigarettes and the response by the cigarette companies has been to make small changes in those cigarettes so they can call them cigars and so they would be exempt from this ban. This creates a problem whereby it blurs the distinction between a machine-rolled “small cigar” and a premium handmade cigar. In this video, we discuss the legislation and demonstrate the differences between a premium handmade cigar and a flavored (or unflavored) “small cigar.”
