Favorite Banknotes

Its always fun to see peoples favorites when it comes to banknotes. So post up your favorite banknote and maybe share a little bit about it. I will start it off:

Costa Rica 1 Colon 1917 PS121


I chose the banknote based on the history that is shown on it. The Anglo Bank of Costa Rica, who knew that there was an Anglo bank there! Also the basic American style banknote with the nice colors thrown in the mix make this banknote beautiful in my eyes.

I too love that costarican note a lot.
One of my favorites is this 5 lempiras note.

Must say that the battle scene on the back of that Hondurian note is pretty badass and bold! The colors on the front are magnificent, great choice amigo!

I'm telling you, I love color and just about any note that has a great historical design/picture on it. That's why I think this is one awesome freaking note.

Rigo if you love color you have to like the new Costa Rica 2,000 Colon banknote. Its colorful and has a giant shark... what can be better then a giant shark. LOL
